FIRE HALL TOUR

posted Sep 8, 2011 8:11 PM by Treena Petch   [ updated Oct 30, 2011 6:57 PM by Administrator Saint ]

The Kindergarten class at St. Walburg School attended the Fire Station on Friday, October 7th, 2011

in honour of Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighter & Deputy Fire Chief Gregg Petch took the students on a tour of the facility.

Although the students were saddened when they learned their was no fire pole,

the students were in awe of the fire trucks, uniforms, lights and even the stairs.

Following the tour, Mr. Petch gave each student a goodie bag including their own firefighter helmets.

The Kindergartners would like to thank Mr. Petch for such a great and educational experience!
