Only tagged running shoes will be allowed in the gym - no exceptions.
Everyone not wearing tagged running shoes
must remove their footwear when entering the gym,
including all students, teachers, parents, athletes, etc
unless the matting is laid out.

Gum is becoming an issue for our Custodians
(stuck on the floor, desks, chairs, etc).
As a result,
chewing gum has been banned from our school.

As of August 15th, 2010, tobacco use is not allowed in the school or on the school grounds.
No smoking, chewing, no tobacco use of any kind – anywhere by anyone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Why?
- Most smokers start before the age of 18
- Approximately 11% of SK youth aged 12-19 are self-reported daily smokers according to the Canadian Community Health Survey
- Healthy students are a priority in our school and our province!
We appreciate your support and thank you for supporting our efforts to create a healthy school environment. |

Elementary students will have snack time at approximately 10:25am every morning. For this time, we ask students to bring a healthy, dry snack (pretzels, veggies, fruit, bagged cereal, granola bars, etc) so they can continue working while eating - no spoons, no dips, no mess.

Our school is a Peanut Aware Environment . Nut allergies are very serious and a child can begin to react from the smell of nuts or by touching an object that has been contaminated by nuts.
Parents, Caregivers and School Officials must work together to create a safer school environment for those who are allergic and a healthier lunch environment for all school kids.
To keep our children safe, please read labels and avoid snacks containing nuts or traces of nuts. Please take the time to read the labels on your child’s food or to look for ‘peanut free’ symbols.
Safe4School Wowbutter is a peanut butter replacement that is made from soy. It is available at Walmart in Lloydminster or Nutters in North Battleford.

Remember that in order to drive students to any extra-curricular or special event,
you must have a package policy with $2 000 000 liability insurance on your vehicle.
All package policies must be submitted to Mrs. Krzak at the office
prior to any events. |
